SUMMARY:Audition Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Elevate your acting\, song\, dance\, audition technique and confidence. Get your audition material ready with this specialized workshop and one-on-one + group guidance from local theatre professionals.\n* Attain effective and confident audition techniques\n* Get successful acting and audition skills and mindset\n* Learn how to sing\, interpret\, and prepare your song selection.\n* Prepare for the dance component of an audition by learning a dance combination with feedback. \nNOTE:\n* Students must have 16-32 bars of two song selections prepared. Bring sheet music and/or a digital recording of the accompaniment music (no vocals on the track allowed) on your device.\n* Hair must be pulled back and out of the face.\n* Wear clothing appropriate for movement. Shoes must be dance shoes or closed-toe\, secured (laces/velcro). No slip-on or open-toed shoes allowed.\n* Bring a refillable water bottle with your student’s name on it.\n* Bring a healthy lunch & snacks. \nAges: 12-18\nTime & Date: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 8\, 2023\nTuition: $150 (with current annual registration) \nTeaching Artists: Jeff Miller (acting)\, Marie Harrison (voice)\, Meridian Toalepai (dance) \nClick here to register.
