DESCRIPTION:Actor’s Studio 2\n** NOTE: Students must have attended CTA’s Actor’s Studio 1 workshop in order to register for this workshop. ** \n  \nStudents will develop acting skills while building confidence for the performance-based environment. This workshop includes foundational skills like voice\, movement\, and physical awareness\, along with core acting techniques such as script analysis\, character development\, and monologue preparation. The curriculum aims to build confidence\, concentration\, imagination\, and creativity through a mix of individual exercises and group activities. \n  \nCore skills and techniques: \n\nVoice and movement: Exercises focus on breath support\, vocal projection\, alignment\, and physical expression to develop a stage presence.\nImagination and concentration: Group exercises and games are used to build focus\, concentration\, and the ability to use personal experiences to create a character.\nCharacter development: Techniques are taught for creating believable and authentic characters.\nScene study: This involves working with a partner to bring a scene to life\, focusing on blocking\, characterization\, and implementing feedback.\nScript analysis: Students learn how to break down a script\, understand a character’s given circumstances\, and analyze their motivations.\nMonologues: Students learn how to prepare\, analyze\, and perform monologues effectively.\n\n  \n  \nAGES: 8-14 (Level: Intermediate-Advanced) \nTUITION: $150.00 (must have current 26/27 annual registration) + processing fee \nWHEN: 6:00-7:30 p.m.; Mondays\, August 31-October 12\, 2026 @ 6-7:30 p.m. (no class September 07) \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER\nTEACHING ARTISTS: Jess Miller \n  \n***************************************************** \nANNUAL REGISTRATION POLICY: All participants must pay an annual registration fee ($20 for one or more students within the same family) to participate in a workshop/camp.
