DESCRIPTION:Stage & Tech Summer Camp 2 (ages 12-18)\nThis camp offers a hands-on study to students interested in the backstage world of theater. Led by our Technical Director\, students will work on: \n\nScenic design (allocating set pieces\, set construction\, and painting)\,\nProps (allocating & making if necessary)\,\nLearning the basics of light and sound\,\nLearning the basics of stage crew & stage management.\n\nPlus students will work jobs in the tech booths and/or backstage during tech rehearsals and two live performances. \n  \nLunch & Snacks: Students must bring a healthy lunch + two snacks each day. Bring a water bottle with your child’s name on it. NO glass bottles. \n  \nAppearance: Students are required to wear black pants or shorts\, a black top (t-shirt\, leotard\, or tank top)\, and black shoes or sneakers secured with laces or velcro. No open-toe shoes\, flip-flops\, sandals\, or crocs. Clothing must be appropriate for movement. (ex: carrying items\, climbing\, crawling\, standing). Hair must be pulled back and away from the face. \n  \nYour tuition includes: \n\nOne complimentary CTA production summer camp t-shirt*\nDirection / instruction from a highly qualified artistic team\nPre-Show Pizza Dinner Party on the last Friday. We’ll provide pizza & bottled water for a team building dinner with the production + stage & tech students between the end of camp and the performance that evening.\nTwo complimentary performance tickets. Additional tickets available to purchase at $7.00/person.\n\n*NOTE: Students must be registered before May 25 to receive a complimentary t-shirt.
