This production of "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe," based on the novel by C.S. Lewis, is a play.
What is the show about?
When Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie arrive at the English countryside during the Second World War, they discover an enchanted wardrobe that spirits them away to the land of Narnia, where they find talking animals, mythical creatures, grand adventure, and a great quest awaiting them. No one is prepared, however, for a shocking betrayal that leads to one of the greatest battles of Good and Evil in children’s literature.
How long is the show?
The show runs approximately 2 hours, including one 15-minute intermission.
What age is the show appropriate for?
CTA encourages parents to use their discretion in determining if their child is old enough to attend a performance of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe."
Is there a lot of noise or lighting effects during the production?
If you or your child is sensitive to loud noises, lighting effects or have other sensory concerns, please consider purchasing a ticket to our sensory-friendly performance at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2.
Can my baby or child sit on my lap during the performance?
All audience members, regardless of age, must have a ticket for the performance. While we understand that your child might prefer your lap, this is the only way we can accurately ensure that the organization has met the fire code regulations for the theatre.
Are concessions available?
Yes! CTA offers wide array of snacks, candy, and beverages before the show and during intermission. Everything is $1 and benefits the Miriam Wolfe Scholarship Fund.
Is merchandise available?
CTA will be selling fun themed merchandise before the show and during intermission. We accept cash or credit cards.
Do we get to meet the cast?
The cast will be in the lobby following the show, so you can give accolades! Additionally, you can purchase a "shout-out" for a cast member with a special treat, and our special helpers will run it backstage, so the cast member knows how much you truly appreciate their performance.
