PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS with Tiffany Shannon Productions, LLC

Through theatre production workshops students gain experience and knowledge in acting techniques, improvisation, characterization, movement, props, scenery, and much more. These workshops conclude with a final performance on our main stage. In production workshops, teamwork is a major focus and all participants are guaranteed a role. We encourage students with all levels of experience to attend. * NOTE: Theatre Production Workshop show titles are subject to change due to cast size and requirements.

Evil magician Jammal tries to trick Aladdin in a malicious scheme to acquire a magical lamp containing a wish-granting genie. But Aladdin tricks him & claims the magic lamp for himself, using its power to win Princess Jasmine & impress the Sultan. Jammal regains possession of the lamp & kidnaps Jasmine! To set things right, Aladdin must face Chop-Chop, the merciless executioner. At last, Aladdin & Jasmine are reunited, and Jammal is transformed into a new person.

Get ready to move and groove! This class combines imaginative play, crafts, singing, acting, and dancing to introduce the performing arts while fostering creativity and nurturing self-esteem. Young performers will develop confidence while having fun! Students will share their work onstage with family and friends during the final class.

TWO-DAY PRODUCTION CHALLENGE WORKSHOP
The script has been selected. The Director has been chosen. Now it's up to our students to be performance ready in this whirlwind workshop! Students will be put through a quick placement audition process (all students will perform in the show), memorize all lines & blocking, work on character development & scene study, and be show-ready (off book) for the performance for friends & family at the end of the workshop.
PRODUCTION: Bad Auditions by Bad Actors by Ian McWethy (a 30-minute comedy one act)

The Fine Print

 

Registration is required for all workshops. A one time Registration Fee must be paid annually for students to participate in theatre arts education sessions. The Annual Registration Fee is $20 for one or more students per family and is valid from July 1 until June 30 annually.

Students are required wear comfortable clothes and sneakers or closed toe shoes (no Crocs, sandals, flip-flops or skirts for the ladies.) Students are not allowed to bring cell phones, toys, games or other electronic devices. A telephone is available for emergency use.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Minimum of 3 weeks prior to camp: Full refund minus the membership fee.

  • 2 weeks prior to camp: Refund minus $75 administrative fee and annual registration fee.

  • First day of camp or later: No refund

 

Inclement Weather Policy: Workshops follow the Anne Arundel County School closings. If schools are closed or afternoon and evening activities are cancelled, the workshop is cancelled for the day. You can email ctainformation@gmail.com if you have questions or concerns.

 

Check In/Out Policy: Please know that the purpose of all this is for your student’s safety and well-being. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping our program run smoothly!

  1. Students, including teens, must be checked in and out by a responsible adult. Please sign your student into their class and say hi to the teacher or supervising adult. This will help us to know who you are!

  2. If you will be more than 5 minutes late picking up your student, please call the Instructor or our office at 410-757-2281 to let us know.

  3. Please notify the teacher if another adult has your permission to pick up your student that day. Parents must understand that once their student is signed out, they are no longer the responsibility of Children’s Theatre of Annapolis.
