Thank you to everyone who auditioned.  The cast list will be posted by Saturday morning.

First rehearsal and parent meeting for Say What? Play Words and Word Plays will be held on Sunday, August 29.

Show dates are Thursday, Friday, October 8, 7:30 PM, Saturday, October 9, 2:00 & 7:30 PM and Sunday, October 10, 2:00 PM.

Audition Expectations for Say What?

 

Auditions for ages 12 - 18 for Once Upon a Mattress will be held on Saturday, September 11 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Sunday, September 12, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. 

Show dates are January 7, 7:30 PM, January 8, 2:00 & 7:30 PM, January 9, 2:00, Friday, January 14, 7:30 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2:00 & 7:30 PM, and Sunday, January 16, 2:00 PM.

Please read this General Audition information:

Youth ages 8 to 18 are invited to participate in auditions for CTA productions, however each audition has specific age requirements. To participate, the auditioner needs to be a member of CTA. Individual ($10) and Family ($20) memberships can be paid at the time of the audition. Be aware that each production has specific requirements. Review the general audition information and the production requirements before auditioning.

General Audition Information
A. Pre-Audition
  1. Know audition requirements
    • age limits
    • type of song and of what length
    • is music required for an accompanist, or taped accompaniment
    • type of shoes required
  2. Be prepared-practice those things the show wants you to do.
  3. Be sure of date, time and location of audition.
B. Audition
  1. When they become available, download and bring the completed audition forms with you.
  2. Be on time.
  3. Review the rehearsal and performance times and check that you can commit to all dates.
  4. Complete membership forms.
  5. Wait quietly until called to audition.
  6. Listen carefully for announcements and directions.
  7. Discuss your music with the Accompanist so that you are comfortable.
  8. Don’t be afraid to ask to start over if you run into problems.
  9. Complete all required parts of the audition, even if you don’t feel that you are good in one of them.
  10. Be courteous to others who are auditioning.
  11. Chewing gum is forbidden.
