MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTION WORKSHOP :: Ages 7 – 18

Peter Pan A Musical Adventure

The Darling children love to hear of Peter Pan’s adventures during his visits through the open window of the nursery.  Then one night after Nana has taken his shadow and Wendy has sewn it back on, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell whisk the children off to Neverland to be part of the adventures.  All your favorite characters are there, including Captain Hook and his pirate crew, Princess Tiger Lily and her tribe, and of course, the Lost Boys and Girls!

Through theatre production workshops students gain experience and knowledge in acting techniques, improvisation, characterization, movement, props, scenery, and much more. These workshops conclude with a final performance on our main stage. In production workshops, teamwork is a major focus and all participants are guaranteed a role. We encourage students with all levels of experience to attend. * NOTE: Theatre Production Workshop show titles are subject to change due to cast size and requirements.

AGES: 7 – 18
WHEN: 5:30-7:30 p.m.; Mondays, February 19-May 13, 2024. Performance: 7:30 p.m.; May 13, 2024. No class on: March 25, 2024.
TEACHING ARTIST: Miss Tiffany (Tiffany Shannon Productions)

Your tuition includes:
– Registration tuition
– Production materials (script & access to digital recording of rehearsal tracks)
– CTA workshop t-shirt
– Direction / instruction from trained and experienced artistic team
– Sets, props, sounds, performance music tracks, stage mics, and lights for final performance
– 12 weeks / 2 hours per week of instruction, dress rehearsal, and 1 live performance
– Complimentary admission for friends and family to attend the final performance
NOTE: Individual costumes will be the responsibility of the actor. CTA will provide specialty costumes and accessories.

WHOSE LAUGH IS IT ANYWAY? (ages 9 – 18)
Improv Comedy Workshop

They say laughter is the best medicine & this workshop will provide tons of it. Students will build confidence playing improv games, learning about comedy acting skills + timing, working on group acting scenes, and so much more! This workshop concludes with a free showcase performance for families and friends on CTA’s main stage!

This class is taught in the style of the television show “Whose Line is it Anyway?”

AGES: 9 – 18
WHEN: 4:30-6:00 p.m.; Thursdays, March 14-May 9, 2024. Performance: 6:00 p.m.; May 9, 2024. No class on March 28, 2024.
