Production Summer Camp (ages 8-14 Advanced Level Students)
ANNIE Camp Broadway Edition
Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie Camp Broadway Edition features everyone’s favorite little orphan in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil plans, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks.

This two-week production summer camp focuses on the main elements of putting a production together quickly. During our time together students will be put through placement auditions, casting, rehearsing, character development, and more. In between rehearsals, campers will participate in team games and exercises that will help fine-tune their theatre skills including improvisation, music, and dance. This all leads up to two performances on our main stage.

Students must attend the placement auditions on Monday, June 15 @ 6-9 p.m. Students will be given a script at the placement auditions. Casting announcements will be made the following day. They will be granted access to a Google Classroom with guide vocal rehearsal tracks. All students must come to Day 1 of camp memorized & ready to work.
